Forgot I made this video for an old race series I used to run a lot in on Forza 4.

Would any oppos be interested in running a drag series? I still remember most of the rules for the series and it was quite a bit of fun with some very close racing.

what kind of rules? A class? S Class ? RWD Only? Quarter mile ? some modification limits (no race tranny, no oversize tire?)

Tell me more, I'm interested.

basically it was the muscle car lobby rules which were:

RWD

under 650hp? have to double check

any and all upgrade allowed.

weight had to be over 2400 lbs? have to double check again

cars that were allowed were all American made cars that fit in the rules.

no clutch slipping

1/4 mile only, would switch track each week,

I would definitely, but I wouldn't be able to join for a few weeks.

Nice!

out of curiosity, how do you enforce the no clutch-slipping rule?

you really cant, we tried different things, but its more of a gentleman's agreement. we had a lot of people who couldn't do it so it was to try and keep the playing field a little more level. a 69 Z/28 or hemi dart tuned right and slipping couldn't be touched.

Makes sense.

anyone who doesn't have a bitching wheel setup can't do it, anyway.

If you ever start the serie again, keep me posted, I'm in.

brilliant. You don't need brakes anyway.
